Welcome to my homepage
I
am Viktor Milosavljevic, the Executive Officer of the Alan Watson Foundation, an organization
dedicated to furthering transnational, interdisciplinary legal scholarship. The
Foundation is looking for additional articles discussing transnational issues
in comparative law, law and society, law and religion, and legal history that
it can post. As a typical example of the activities of the Alan Watson
Foundation, I organized a video conference on
Internet Law between the University of Belgrade Law School and Suffolk
University Law School in December 2008. Prior
to moving to Serbia in 2000, I lived in Vienna, Austria and Lodz, Poland (where I was born). Being fluent in English,
German, Polish and Serbian, I can provide a multi-language translation of the
abstract of your posted article. I also translate theses, scholarly articles,
legal documents and business communications on a freelance basis. The
Alan Watson Foundation is in the process of establishing a series of annual
conferences that will be held at the University of Belgrade’s Law School. The
next conference will focus on legal transplants and the diffusion of law. If
you are interested in participating in this upcoming event or have ideas for
future conferences to be held in Belgrade, please contact me at alan.watson@ius.bg.ac.yu.
I also recruit authors and provide translations for the Belgrade Law Review. I have written
a number of Wikipedia postings for those looking for additional
information about Serbian legal education and my law school. I am
very interested in furthering analytical and practical work in international
development, sustainable economic growth, human rights and civil society
advocacy. I have authored assessments of several Serbian civil society
organizations for a multi-year USAID-funded civil
society program. I have also written a Guide for
Exporters, which was prepared for the Serbian Investment and Export
Promotion Agency. I have just completed designing a website for the Crown Prince Alexander II Foundation for
Education. I am interested in working with organizations that need
assistance establishing business or human rights ventures in Serbia. I
am always happy to exchange information and ideas with foreigners who share
my interests in the many ways that law interacts with the larger society and
economy. |
